Life (Derby & Burton Group)
The 'Life' Charity was formed in 1970 by co-founders Jack and Nuala Scarisbrick.
Creating a world where no one faces pregnancy or pregnancy loss alone. The Charity helps more than 70,000 people each year, supporting them to meet pregnancy or pregnancy loss with courage and dignity, so they can flourish. Life Services include:

A “Life” Group was formed in Burton on Trent in the early 1990s. From 2014 to 2025 a project supporting local mothers and babies with baby supplies was very successful. Over 600 Baby Welcome Packs were distributed. The Derby Shop closed in December 2024. The Derby and Burton “Life” Group and supporter’s group closed in May 2025.
